Little Fires

The next River Walk Book Club meeting will take place on Thursday, June 13 at 7:00 pm at Mary Ellen Murphy’s cottage in East Haven.  The book is entitled Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng.  Mary Ellen will be provide directions to her home in a separate email.  Remember this will be the last group before we go on “summer vacation”. Please bring your book suggestions for summer reads or for the first Fall meeting to this group. We are looking for a host for the Fall meeting.  Your suggestions for books and offers to host are greatly appreciated!

Weather permitting, every Thursday morning we depart for one of the many courses nearby. Our golf fellowship is laced with fun and exercise followed by a casual lunch. While at lunch, our focus usually includes bragging about some of the few great shots and poking fun at the golfers with the worst shots.

During the off-season, our hackers substitute golf with another casual lunch at one of the many restaurants in our area.

River Walk South Florida Residents Gather for Lunch

On March 6, a contingent of Branford River Walk residents vacationing in South Florida gathered for lunch at the Twisted Tuna in Port Salerno and to enjoy each other’s company.
